sensational and great breakfast with plenty of options, perfect and fairly clean place. location very close to the metro. also, close to subway station. honestly no complaints whatsoever.

Comfortable room, clean but with a broken shower partition. Breakfast was excellent.

The grounds were untidy and over grown outside. Reception staff could have been more helpful we thought.

Staff was friendly and fairly helpful. Restaurant and breakfast selection was good and staff were very helpful. Easy access to Subway system and downtown Essen

The sauna / recreation area was a disappointment. Located in the basement and only "turned on" by request and additional charge .. Didn't seem like a relaxing environment. WiFi in lobby was useful but connection often failed. Should have WiFi "in room access for business travelers "

Tidy and clean, very peaceful and quiet, free parking, cheap(ish).

Coffee in the breakfast was more like colored water, but at least it was hot, unlike the water in the shower. Wifi signal too weak in the room.
